IND vs NZ Live: Neesham’s stunning one-handed effort to save Six sends Twitter in frenzy – Check out

New Zealand’s Jimmy Neesham almost pulled off a blinder at the boundary ropes in the ongoing clash against India in Dubai today. It would have been one of the stunning catches of this World Cup but Neesham was never going to pull that off. However, he did save 5 runs for his side and denied a maximum to Hardik Pandya with his stunning effort.

The incident took place in the 14th over. Ish Sodhi bowled a short ball at leg stump, Hardik wanted to pull played it too early. Top-edge hangs to Jimmy Neesham at mid-wicket as he sprints to his left. Neesham then jumps at the very end with his right hand going over his left shoulder and manages to get a hand on it. Although he couldn’t take it but managed to pat it in and saved five runs.

Meanwhile, after being put in to bat first, Virat Kohli & Co once again failed to get off to a solid start. Barring Hardik Pandya’s 23 off 24 and Ravindra Jadeja’s 26* off 19, India’s top-order failed once again and India could only set a 111-run target for New Zealand.
