IND VS PAK: Pakistan’s Fakar Zaman sends warning to Virat Kohli’s Team India with fifty in warm-up game against South Africa

Pakistan middle-order batsman Fakhar Zaman has sent a warning to Virat Kohli’s Team India ahead of their first game of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 on October 24 with a fifty in the warm-up game against South Africa here at the Tolerance Oval, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. Pakistan batsman had earlier scored 41 runs in the warmup game against West Indies and played a crucial role in the team’s victory by 7 wickets.

In the match against South Africa, Fakhar Zaman scored 52 runs in just 28 balls with the help of 2 boundaries and 5 sixes. He played with a strike rate of 185. He smashed sixes against Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje.

Fakhar Zaman has previously scored runs against India and will be one of the potent weapons for Pakistan. No Pakistan or India fan will ever forget his match-winning century against Team India in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final. Fakhar was named Man of the Match for his 114 run knock in just 106 balls with the help of 12 boundaries and 3 sixes. He helped Men in Green post a huge total of 338 on the board in the first innings and helped Pakistan win the match by 180 runs.

Fakhar Zaman’s top-notch form can be tackled with a top-class Indian spin attack. As is the case with almost all left-handers, Zaman also struggles against off-spinners and Virat Kohli’s Team India have 2 quality off-spinner in their squad. R Ashwin failed to counter Zaman in the 2017 Champions Trophy final however, Varun Chakravarthy can prove fatal against him.
