Arjun Tendulkar is cherishing his time with the Mumbai Indians (MI) team in UAE. The left handed allrounder has been training hard to make his place in the playing squad in the second phase of tournament in IPL 2021. Besides, the 21-year old is leaving no stone unturned to mingle with other players and keep himself entertained. Recently, in a reel shared by Mumbai Indians on Instagram, Arjun Tendulkar was seen baking ‘Modak’ sweet on the special occasion of Ganesh Chaurthi.
The three minute long featured- Arjun Tendulkar, Dhawal Kulkarni and Aditya Tare who baked the popular dish- Modak on the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The young MI player used stencil to make a perfectly baked Modak but it slightly crumbled. While even Dhawal Kulkarni also struggled, Aditya Tare baked the cuisine with utmost ease.
The trio then shared their experinces as to how each one of them celebrates Ganesh Chaurthi when they are at their place in Maharashtra.
The video culminated in a light hearted manner where Tendulkar epressed his craving to have the ‘Modak.’
Mumbai Indians landed in UAE for the second leg on August 13 and had been practicing at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi since August 20. The team is staying in one of the most luxurious hotels- The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi.
The five-time champions Mumbai Indians will kick off their IPL 2021 phase 2 campaign against MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in Dubai. They have blown hot and cold in the first leg of the tournament and are ranked fourth in the league standings with four wins and three defeats in seven outings.
