IPL 2021: SRH’s Umran Malik breaks all records bowls fastest ball by an Indian in IPL 2021, Check out

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have unearthed raw talent from Jammu and Kashmir. The youngster named Umran Malik made headlines with his sheer pace on Sunday & break all records for Fastest Bowl by Indian in IPL 2021

Malik clocked speeds in the higher 140 before breaching the 150 kmph mark. He officially became the fastest Indian pacer in the IPL this season. As per IPL 2021 stats, only Anrich Nortje and Lockie Ferguson bowled faster deliveries than the 21-year-old tearaway quick.

Umran Malik, who made his debut against Kolkata Knight Riders last game, clocked speeds over 150 kmph on the speed gun and his fastest ball was 151.03.

As a result, the 21-year-old Jammu and Kashmir pacer is now the only Indian in the top ten for this season to deliver the fastest balls. The 21-year-old Malik clocked a delivery at 146 kmph speed in his very first over, and he then entered 150s twice on the speed gun. His raw pace was a difficult test for the opposition to negate and registered figures of 0/27 from his overs on a slow, sluggish track.

Umran Malik was drafted as a replacement for T Natarajan, who was ruled out for a significant period due to COVID-19. The 21-year-old put in a fine shift and is expected to feature in Sunrisers’ final game of the season, in what has been a truly dreadful campaign for the 2016 champions. Before playing against KKR, Malik had played one T20 and List A match for Jammu Kashmir and he picked a total of four wickets. He is the fourth from Jammu and Kashmir to play in the IPL and third for Sunrisers, following Parvez Rasool, Rasikh Salam and Abdul Samad.
