IPL 2021 in UAE: Sanju Samson calls Chris Morris ‘Chachu’, Rajasthan Royals players enjoy return to training ahead of IPL – Watch video

Rajasthan Royals’ Sanju Samson may not be an established name in international cricket but he has earned everyone’s respect for being one of the most aggressive batsmen of the tournament, even from the most expensive player of IPL history Chris Morris. In a video shared by Rajasthan Royals showed a glimpse of bonding between the two during one of the practice sessions.

In the video, Sanju Samson is seen waiting for the masseur ahead of a practice session in Dubai. As Chris Morris approached, Samson called him ‘Chachu’, a nickname he has used for the South African. The two were having fun as the squad began practice on Sunday. Sanju asks Morris, “Chachu, what are you doing here? In response, Morris asks, “How much are you sweating?”

The heat and humidity in Dubai has already been discussed. But for Sanju Samson who also comes from a coastal state Kerala, it would be easy to acclimatise to the conditions.

Rajasthan Royals players ended their quarantine on Saturday ahead of IPL 2021 Phase 2 and Chris Morris joined the team from the first day after pulling out of CPL 2021.

With just a week left for the IPL 2021 Phase 2 to start, Rajasthan Royals are aiming to turn things around. Rajasthan Royals have yet again proved to be inconsistent. But their inconsistency is mostly down to the unavailability of players. They have missed Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer greatly. They have won three and lost four and that has to be the opposite in the last phase. RR face PBKS, RCB, CSK, MI, KKR, DC, SRH in their last seven matches and need to win at least five.
