IPL 2021: ‘Old man’ of RCB Ab De Villiers shows his ‘360 degree’ batting skills, slams amazing century in practice game, check video

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s star batsman Ab De Villiers smashed a brilliant century in the practice match sending warning bells to opponents ahead of the IPL 2021 phase 2. ABD shows off his 360 Degree batting skills in the practice match.

RCB shared a video of the match on their Twitter handle with caption,”Bold Diaries: RCB’s Practice Match AB de Villiers scores a century, KS Bharat scores 95 as batsmen make merry in the practice match between Devdutt’s 11 and Harshal’s 11. #PlayBold#WeAreChallengers#IPL2021.”

RCB played a practice match between Harshal Patel’s XI vs Devdutt Paddikal XI. Harshal Patel’s side won the toss and opted to bat first. ABD scored 104 runs in just 46 balls with the help of 7 boundaries and 10 sixes. He played with a strike rate of 226. While he was accompanied by Mohammed Azharuddeen, who smashed a fifty to in the practice match. He hit 66 runs in 43 balls with six boundaries and three fours in his innings.

After the first innings, AB said,” When I got off the bus and thought that it’s crazy that we are going to play a game in the middle of the day in the middle of the desert. But luckily half an hour later the breeze came up. That helped a lot. I am very happy with the runs on the board, it was really stretchy in the first 20 balls. But I was happy that we got the runs, there is nothing more than scoring runs in the middle.”

Devdutt Paddikal XI made 213 runs in 20 overs.

KS Bharat and Devdutt Paddikal gave their side a solid start chasing a huge total. Bharat’s 95 runs in 47 balls helped the side chase down the total on the last ball of the match. Bharat’s innings was studded with 11 boundaries and four sixes. While Paddikal scored 36 runs in 21 balls.

RCB will want their performers from the practice game to continue their form in the IPL 2021 phase 2.
