The update of de Villiers joining the camp came in via RCB’s post on social media. The right-handed batsman will straightaway go into six-day mandatory quarantine at the team hotel- JA Lake View Hotel in Dubai.

Meanwhile, the rest of the RCB team arrived in UAE on August 29. On Sunday, after successfully completing their quarantine, the team had its first practice session ahead of the second phase of IPL 2021.
Often hailed as Mr 360 for his wide-ranging on-field shots with the bat, de Villiers has been with RCB since 2011.
