Rajasthan Royals player Riyan Parag on Wednesday produced one of the best fielding in IPL 2021. He dismissed in-form Virat Kohli with a sharp throw. The incident occurred off the second-last ball of the 7th over. Parag nailed a direct hit at the bowler’s end to end Kohli’s innings.
Kohli was a bit hesitant to take the run initially, but he went for it and ultimately paid the price. He sliced the ball at the point and the fielder stopped it with a dive. It was actually a misfield by the fielder and Kohli decided to take a chance. He did well to get back and fire a throw at Kohli’s end. The RCB captain departed for just 25 runs off 20 balls.
