WWE superstar John Cena seems to have become a big fan of CSK captain MS Dhoni. On Saturday, he shared a picture of India cricket legend Dhoni wanting to shake hands with the all-time great. The picture showed Dhoni in a mentor avatar as if he is about to shake hands with someone. He can be seen in the Men in Blue jersey.
Reacting to the post, a user wrote: “Thala Shaking hands with John Cena.”
“MSD meeting John Cena,” replied another user.
At 40, he may not be the same batsman but that he led CSK to their fourth IPL title says a lot. While the man himself kept it a mystery, for CSK management, the choice is obvious, ‘He is going to stay for another season.’
“There will be retention and that is a fact. The number of retentions isn’t something we are aware of yet. But honestly, that is secondary in MS’ case because the first card will be used for him. The ship needs its captain and rests assured he will be back next year,” a CSK official told ANI.
