Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been detained by The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) as part of a drugs bust case in Mumbai. Officials raided a rave party on Saturday right hosted on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Aryan Khan has not been booked on any charges and has not been arrested so far, said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB. Along with KKR owner’s son, six others including Arbaaz Merchant are also being questioned. The news comes on the eve of a crucial match for SRK’s team, who take on Sunrisers in the UAE.

As per reports, the NCB have also summoned six of the organisers who had planned the party on on Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship. Kashiff Khan, managing director of FTV India, is also under scanner and NCB has reached out to him. The event was organised under the supervision of Kashiff Khan while Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra are also being questioned.
Sources suggest Aryan Khan’s phone has been seized and is being scanned by the authorities to check for any indication of his involvement in the possession or consumption of drugs. The NCB are going through chats to ascertain seized during the bust,with drugs like ecstasy, cocaine, mephedrone and charas being recovered from the cruise.
The agency has apprehended eight people, including two women, while three girls who had arrived from Delhi to join the cruise party have also been detained. It is believed that they are daughters of prominent businessmen.
Aryan Khan is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s eldest son. The couple also have a daughter, Suhana Khan, and another son, AbRam. Shahrukh has been the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders since its inception in 2008 along with actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta.
