As many as 5 players were included across all formats as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) approved National Players Contract for the period of May to December 2021 on Wednesday. They are Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Litton Kumer Das, Taskin Ahmed, and Shoriful Islam. As many as 24 players were included in the list with the remaining players in one or two formats. Major outcomes of the 11th meeting of the BCB Board of Directors held on Wednesday (01 September 2021):
- The Board approved the list of Associations, Clubs and different Organisations for the formation of the BCB General Council in line with the requirements of the BCB Constitution (Amended in 2017).
- A five-member Election Commission was formed for conducting the BCB Board of Directors’ Election 2021. The members of the Commission are –
