T20 World Cup Final: Ever-cool Kane Williamson unmoved, SMILES even after LOSS

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, who is known for his calm and composure in dealing with any situation, smiled even after losing the T20 World Cup. He scored the highest individual score of the Final but remained unmoved in the unwanted situation. In fact, he celebrated New Zealand’s success in reaching the finals of the showpiece tournament.

After the match, Williamson accepted the loss on the chin, smiled with the Aussies, congratulated the Kangaroos on their victory and finally moved on. Like legendary MS Dhoni, Williamson doesn’t show off emotions even after wins or losses.

On the contrary, Australia allrounder Marcus Stoinis couldn’t hold his tears after the Aussies ended their 14-year-long jinx of winning the T20 World Cup. In a picture that has gone viral on social media, Stoinis can be seen embracing his teammates with tears rolling down his cheek. The entire Aussies group were emotional with former cricketer Shane Watson crying during post-match for Star Sports.

Mitchell Marsh and David Warner played knocks of 77 and 53 respectively as Australia lifted its maiden T20 World Cup title. In the summit clash, Australia outclassed New Zealand by eight wickets with seven balls to spare while chasing a target of 173. Earlier, Kane Williamson played brilliant innings of 85 runs as New Zealand posted 172/4 against Australia Asked to bat first.
