T20 World Cup: Team India’s jersey for T20 World Cup 2021 displayed at Burj Khalifa in Dubai

The ICC T20 World CUP 2021 is just around the corner and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled Team India’s new jersey on Wednesday on their social media handles. India captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Rohit Sharma, wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul, lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah and start all-rounder Ravinder Jadeja were seen flaunting the new kit in the post. Soon after the jersey was unveiled it was being showcased at the iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

In one of the videos posted by a social media user on Twitter, one can see that the video begins with the trio colour displayed on the Burj Khalifa, followed by BCCI’s logo and finally Team India’s jersey.

India’s new jersey is a combination of both the retro blue one infused with India’s billion fans. The jersey features a distinct blue colour with orange stripes on the two sides and echoes of the billion fans creating a beautiful pattern on the jersey.

BCCI in association with its official jersey sponsor MPL Sports launched the new jersey on its platform on October 13. Virat Kohli & Co will begin their campaign against Pakistan on October 24. The patterns on the jersey are inspired by the billion cheers of the fans.
